The summer transfer window continues to heat up as top European clubs continue to bolster their squads ahead of the new season.
Up until now, there have been a couple more major signings to particular clubs and this will continue until after the league starts.
Football action across top European leagues resumes as soon as this weekend as Liverpool take on EPL champions Man City in the Community Shield.
Plenty of exciting acquisitions are taking place and here SportPesa’s Blog has a look at the most recent confirmed signings.
PAULO DYBALA (Juventus to AS Roma)
Europa Conference League winners Roma, who finished sixth in Serie A last season, announced last week they had signed Dybala after his contract with Juventus expired.
He joins Roma for free on a three-year contract.
The 28-year old forward spent a trophy-laden seven years in Turin, after joining Juve from Palermo in 2015.
The Argentine won the Italian top flight five times with Juventus and is seeking to help Roma end their 21-year drought.
OLEKSANDR ZINCHENKO (Manchester City to Arsenal)
Oleksandr Zinchenko joined Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal from Man City after they agreed to a £32m deal.
Zinchenko spent just over six years at City after joining the club as a teenager from Russian side Ufa.
The 25-year old is fresh off a title-winning season under Pep Guardiola and has signed a long-term contract at The Emirates.
Zinchenko becomes the Gunners’ fifth summer signing following the arrivals of Jesus, Marquinhos, Matt Turner and Fabio Vieira.
LUIS SUAREZ (Atletico Madrid to Nacional)
Suarez confirmed he has reached an agreement to make a sensational return to former club Nacional in Uruguay.
The 35-year-old first joined Nacional as a 14-year-old and came through the ranks before making his first-team bow in 2005.
Suarez became a free agent after his contract at Atletico expired at the end of last season.
He won the Champions League and LaLiga four times with Barcelona before he was given a free transfer in 2020.
That led to a switch to Atletico Madrid, where he won the title in his first season, for a two-year spell.
GIANLUCA SCAMACCA (Sassuolo to West Ham)
Scamacca completed his move from Sassuolo to West Ham in a £35.5m deal.
The Italian striker signed a five-year contact plus the option of a further 12 months.
The Hammers have agreed to pay Sassuolo an initial £30.5m with £5m in add-ons and the deal also includes a 10 per cent sell-on clause for the Italian side.
He scored 16 goals in 36 Serie A games last season and he becomes club’s fourth summer signing.
