Pre-Match Summary

Everton who put in probably their best performance of the season last week at home to Spurs with a 3-2 win come here having not lost away to Brighton in the last 4 seasons (W2,D2) and new boss David Moyes will be hoping that continues, while Brighton are now unbeaten in six games allthough four of them was draws, they have won the last two to Ipswich and Man Utd both however were away from home.

Liverpool Vs Ipswich

Pre-Match Summary

Liverpool left it very late last weekend but better late than never as they say and the wins keep on coming for Arne Slots’s men as they welcome struggling Ipswich to Anfield who have just one win in the last six games (4L and 1D) including last time out which was a 6-0 hammering at home to Manchester City. A tough afternoon could be in store for the tractor boys as Liverpool will be all out to extend there grip on top spot.

Statistical Insight:

Southampton Vs Newcastle

Pre-Match Summary

The writting is on the wall for Saints and they are heading for a very unwanted record of the lowest ever points tally by any team in the premier league as they have lost eighteen of there twenty two games so far. Nerwcastle on the other hand had won nine straight games in all competitions until last weeks 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth and will be looking to get back to winning ways today.

Statistical Insight:

Wolverhampton Wanderers Vs Arsenal

Pre-Match Summary

Wolves who had looked as though things were turning for them with two back to back wins over Leicester and Man Utd have since then drawn one and lost the last three which leaves them only out of the bottom three on goal difference. Arsenal come here after a draw at home to Aston Villa last week 2-2 after being 2-0 and will be kicking themselves for not seeing it through. Arteta will be sure to tighten up and not make the same mistake here.

Statistical Insight:

Manchester City Vs Chelsea

Pre-Match Summary

Both these teams may feel the title is well out of reach now as they Chelsea sit fourth ten points behind the leaders and City fifth two points behind todays opponents, however a top four spot will now be the priority for these two as they go head to head in Satudays evening kick off. City after there uncharachteristic poor run now seem to have steadied the ship and Chelsea likewise after they also had a bit of a mid season blip.

Statistical Insight:

Crystal Palace Vs Brentford

Pre-Match Summary

Palace have strung together some good results recently and have clawed there was out of a potential relegation battle and now sit in twelfth place, just one position and one point behaind todays visitors Brentford. The Bees will be crestfallen after holding Liverpool to what they thought was a solid 0-0 draw upto 90 minutes, before Liverpool scored twice in stoppage time to snatch the points.

Statistical Insight:

Tottenham Hotspur Vs Leicester

Pre-Match Summary

Spurs season has been really poor on the whole and now have dropped to fifteenth in the league just eight points ahead of the drop zone, there has been speculation over manager Ange Postecoglou’s future and a win seems a must in this game. Leicester manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy also finds himself in the spotlight after only two months in charge but seven straight defeats can not go unnoticed and this is another difficult away match.

Statistical Insight:

Aston Villa Vs West Ham United

Pre-Match Summary

The claret and blue derby, sees these two teams meet for the third time this season after being drawn in the FA Cup earlier this month. Villa came out on top in both games by the same scoreline 2-1 and now at home will fancy themselves for the hatrick as they have not lost at home since the first home game of the season v Arsenal (0-2). West Ham now under new manager Graham Potter will be looking to put a stop to Villa’s unbeaten home record but they have a tough assignment.

Statistical Insight:

Fulham Vs Manchester United

Pre-Match Summary

Fulham currently tenth saw off Leicester with a 2-0 away win last week to earn there first win in four after losing to West Ham 3-2 the previous week and two draws prior to that. They host Manchester United today who are not having the best of seasons and manager Ruben Amorim is finding life difficult here. Just one win in the last six league games against Southampton with one draw and four defeats is not good reading for United.
