Its Judgement day for both Leicester and Ipswich this weekend as the relegation strugglers will both see their fate and be releagted from the Premier League should they both lose and if both West Ham and Wolves win.

It has been a poor season for all of three of the promoted sides and it looks almost certain that all three will return back to the Championship after Southampton already confirmed as relegated look sure to be joined by both Leicester and Ipswich as early as this weekend should the results go that way.

At the top it is business as usual for Liverpool as they gained another vital 3 points at home to West Ham last weekend and the title is now in touching disatnce for Arne Slot in his first season in charge at Anfield as Arsenal could only manage a 1-1 draw at home against Brentford.

Man City came from 2 goals down to beat Crystal Palace 5-2 as the chase down a Champions League spot after Nottingham Forest slipped up and lost 1-0 at home to in form Everton.

Chelsea drew for the second game in a row which does not help thier pursuit of Champions League football but Newcastle looked strong as they beat Crystal Palace 5-0 on Wednesday night.

Aston Villa won 3-0 away to relegated Southampton to go 6 points clear of Bournemouth, Fulham and Brighton and look to close in on a Europa League place.

As we head into an important Easter weekend all eyes will be on Leicester and Ipswich to see if they can survive the drop.

The foxes play league leaders Liverpool on Sunday at 16.30 ko UK time, so have a monumentus task ahead and should they lose they will be confirmed as a Championship team next season.

Ipswich situation is slightly more complictaed but nonetheless they must win to stand any chance of beating the drop, like Leicester they also have a tough task as they host 2nd place Arsenal on Sunday 14.00 ko. If Ipswich lose and both West Ham and Wolves win then this will also confirm their relegation.

Sunday also sees a London derby as Fulham host Chelsea and Man Utd v Wolves both games also at 14.00 ko.

Saturdays action includes Brentford v Brighton, Crystal Palace v Bournemouth, Everton v Man City & West Ham V Southampton all at 15.00 ko, before a tasty 17.30 clash between Aston Villa and Newcastle.

The final game of the Easter Weekend is Monday night at 20.00 as Spurs take on Nottingham Forest.

Brentford Vs Brighton

Pre-Match Summary

Both of these teams have been out of form of late and both have only 1 win in the last 5 games and both draw 2 and lost 2. They will both want to be back to winning ways, Brighton and Brentford both do still have outside chances of qualifying for europe but wins at this stage of the season are vital to keep that dream alive.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: A game in which could go either way but given the recent poor form and the last two H2Hs have both ended 0-0 this perhaps could go the way of another Draw.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: These two teams have got goals in them and this could easily be Over 2.5 goals but it will depend on if the teams can get up for it.
  • Both Teams to Score: Yes, there should be chances created here and btts could be a good bet.

Crystal Palace Vs Bournemouth

Pre-Match Summary

Palace had been enjoying an excellent run of form up until last week, that did look to continue as they led 2-0 v Man City only to lose the game 5-2 and then followed that with a midweek hammering of 5-0 to Newcastle. Bournemouth held strong and defeated a good Fulham team 1-0 to maintain there European aspirations.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Palace will need to sure up at the back after conceding 10 goals in 2 games, maybe they are feeling the fatigue and an Away win could be a shrewd pick.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Over 2.5 goals is likely in what should be an open game with plenty of chances.
  • Both Teams to Score: Yes, both teams have enough firepower to cause each other problems.

Everton Vs Manchester City

Pre-Match Summary

Everton are the leagues in form team and recorded a solid 3 points away to Nottingham Forest last week with a last minute winner, they will head into this confident and safe from relegation so the pressure will be off. City look to be getting back to there previous form and are chasing down a Champions League spot to rescue a poor season for there usually very high standards.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: City head into this as favourites but it will not be as straight forward as that against a revitilised Everton team looking to end the final season at Goodison Park strong. Possible Home win.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: This may be a tight game and Evertons defence recently has been solid. Games involving City though always have potential of over 2.5 goals.
  • Both Teams to Score: It would be no suprise to see both teams on the scoresheet today.

West Ham United Vs Southampton

Pre-Match Summary

Southampton will be happy to see the back of this season and will already be working on next season now they are a Championship team. West Ham who themselves have not enjoyed this season sit only one place above the bottom 3, however they are 14 points clear, a win today against the league bottom club will ensure they are a Premier League team next season provided Ipswich do not win.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: It really is difficult to make a case for Saints and this should go the way of a Home win.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Having already conceded 77 goals this season Saints have by far the worst defence and its easy to see more goals being shipped here. Over 2.5 goals yes.
  • Both Teams to Score: No, not only do they have the worst defensive record but Saints have also scored the least of any team this season with a mere 23 goals all season.

Aston Villa Vs Newcastle United

Pre-Match Summary

Newcastle 3rd, should be playing Champions League football next season and have won 5 straight league games in a row aswell as winning the EFL cup, they come here full of confidence. Villa not short on confidence themselves despite beating PSG 3-2 they crashed out of the Champions League on aggregate, but have also won the last 4 league games too making this a tasty prospect.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: It is Newcastle who have the upper hand in H2H winning 4 of the last 5 meetings Villa winning just 1, this is a hard game to call and could sing either way.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: There should be lots of attacking play on display here and both teams will not hold back making this a likely game for Over 2.5 goals.
  • Both Teams to Score: Yes, two good attacking teams with plenty of options up top.

Fulham Vs Chelsea

Pre-Match Summary

A West London derby at a key stage of the season, Chelsea pushing for a Champions League place and Fulham who are on for a Europa League place makes this more than just a bragging rights derby. Chelsea have drew the last 2 games wheras Fulham have lost, won, lost won and lost showing their inconsistencies.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: The last 5 H2H have seen each team win twice and a draw, based on recent form Chelsea seem to be playing slightly better but Fulham with Home advantage could sneak a Home win.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Another open game is expected and we should see goals here. Over 2.5 goals is likely.
  • Both Teams to Score: This could be an end to end game with frequent goal scoring opportunities. Btts yes.

Ipswich Vs Arsenal

Pre-Match Summary

A tough game for Ipwich, failure to win could see them relegated back to the Championship. Arsenal will not give up the chase on Liverpool at the top and after knocking out Real Madrid in the Champions League midweek they will come in fully confident of a win.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Ipswich will give it there all here but an Away win is the likely outcome.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Both teams have their own assignments on in this game and will both be all out attack so expect an open game and Over 2.5 goals.
  • Both Teams to Score: Yes, Ipswich can certainly hit Arsenal on the counter and vice versa.

Manchester United Vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Pre-Match Summary

a Win here for Wolves would almost gaurantee them saftey in the league but it will not be as easy said than done, manchester United despite a poor season are determined to end the season strong especially at home in what has been a very sub standard campagin.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Wolves come here in the best form theyve been in all season on the back of 4 straight wins that could indicate a suprise Away win.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Hard to predict what Man Utd team will turn up here but this may be a closer game than firt though and Under 2.5 goals could be the option.
  • Both Teams to Score: Possible btts, not a certainty.

Leicester City Vs Liverpool

Pre-Match Summary

Liverpool could potentially win the league here with a win and at the same time relegate Leicester City. Not great news as a foxes fan knowing defeat will result in relegation. Liverpool will only win the league however with a win and if Arsenal are beaten by Ipswich so a big ask but not impossible.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Liverpool should come here and get the job done without too much hassle. Away win.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Liverpool the leagues highest scorers against a weak Leicester defense could result in a high scoring games. Over 2.5 goals.
  • Both Teams to Score: No, Leicester will have to come out fighting but its hard to make a case for them against a top side.

Tottenham Hotspur Vs Nottingham Forest

Pre-Match Summary

Spurs poor season continued last week as they lost 4-2 to Wolves and currently sit 15th in the league. Forest having been 3rd for a long period in the season lost at home to Everton 1-0 which seen them slip to 4th and they need to be careful not to mess up what has been an excellent season and not fall out of the Champions League spaces.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Forest will be keen to get back to winning ways having lost the last 2 games, there is a lot at stake for them and they will be all out to secure the win. Away win is likely.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Spurs games this season have had some big scorelines and this could easily go the same way Over 2.5 goals seems a good selection.
  • Both Teams to Score: Yes. Both teams will not sit back and goals should be on the cards.
