Manchester City Vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Pre-Match Summary

The leagues in form team Wolves come here on the back of 6 straight wins and full of confidence to take on a City side who in recent weeks have been back to the kind of form we are used to seeing as they close in on a Champions League spot which makes this a tasty looking fixture.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: An interesting looking fixture which on paper should look like a certain Home win, however the form stats dont lie and Wolves may cause City problems.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: This looks a game in which goal are almost certain and Over 2.5 goals would be a sure bet.
  • Both Teams to Score: Yes, given the recent form of both teams this looks likely.

Aston Villa Vs Fulham

Pre-Match Summary

These two teams are only seperated by one league position as Villa 7th chase down a European spot, while Fulham 8th look like they may miss out as despite the one place difference they are actually 6 points behind Villa going into this one.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Villa have an excellent home record and have lost just once all season at Villa Park, Fulham have been good this season but perhaps the Home win will be a better option.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Another game which on paper looks certain for goals and Over 2.5 goals would not be a suprise outcome.
  • Both Teams to Score: Yes, this has a pretty good chance looking at the goalscoring form.

Everton Vs Ipswich

Pre-Match Summary

Relegated Ipswich will come here now under no pressure and may play open football, Everton who have had a solid couple of months under David Moyes return to Goodison Park and now safe will want to return to winning ways after a 1-0 defeat away to Chelsea last weekend.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Everton back on home turf will be looking to make the most of the last 2 games ever to be played at Goodison before their move to a new stadium, Home win is probable.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: This may be an open game both teams have nothing really to play for now so Over 2.5 goals has a chance.
  • Both Teams to Score: Possible, both defences have vulnerabilities.

Leicester Vs Southampton

Pre-Match Summary

Two teams who will meet again next season in the Championship will be hoping to end what has been a miserable season on a high. These two teams have the two worst defensive records in the league and combined have conceded a whopping 156 so far this season.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Tough one to call and it really could go either way however Leicester have the home advantage and that may just get the Home win.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Allthough not the best in attacking areas these two teams boast the two worst defences in the league so there is always a chance or errors leading to goals, Over 2.5 has a chance.
  • Both Teams to Score: Yes, this could be a game with goals either end.

Arsenal Vs Bournemouth

Pre-Match Summary

Arsenal will have to settle for second best now that Liverpool have won the league, they are 5 points ahead of 3rd place Newcastle with just 4 games to go, however Mike Arteta may want to rest some senior players for this one as they travel to Paris next week for the 2nd leg of the Champions League semi final.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: This may depend on the lineups, and with Arsenal likely to rest players, this may swing in the direction of a suprise Away win.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Possible this will be an open game and both teams should create chances. Over 2.5 goals has a chance.
  • Both Teams to Score: Yes, there should be plenty of goalmouth action at either ends which gives this a chance.

Brentford Vs Manchester United

Pre-Match Summary

A poor season overall for Manchester United as they currently sit in 14th place having won just 10 games all season. Meanwhile Brentford look on target for a top half finnish and will look to close the gap on Bournemouth and Brighton.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: This may come down to home advantage and Brentford will hope to have the edge is another tricky game to predict. Home win or Draw.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Both teams have it in them to score goals but this perhaps could be a tight game so maybe Under 2.5 goals is a better option.
  • Both Teams to Score: The last 3 H2Hs have all been Btts and this has the potnetial to be the same outcome.

Brighton Vs Newcastle United

Pre-Match Summary

A European place looks like it may just be out of reach for Brighton now as they face Newcastle who currently sit 3rd and are in hot pursuit of securing a Champions League place. Despite a blip two weeks ago and losing heavily away to Aston Villa they were back on track with a big win last week over Ipswich 3-0.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Brighton dont really have much to play for now and Newcastle will come here knowing a win will take them a step closer to securing that European place. Away win
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: This on paper looks like it could easily be Over 2.5 goals.
  • Both Teams to Score: 4 of the last 5 competiitive matches have been btts so this has a good chance.

West Ham United Vs Tottenham Hotspur

Pre-Match Summary

West Ham have not won a gam,e in 7 and have L4 and D3 a poor run and they sit just one place above the drop zone however they are safe from relegation. Spurs have not been in much better form and lost heavily 5-1 to league winners Liverpool last week, they sit just 1 point and 1 place abouve todays hosts.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Another game which could swing either way, this will probably come down to which ever teams wants the win most. Perhaps a Draw is onthe cards.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Neither side have been great defensively this season and that opens the door for goals and there should be opportunities for Over 2.5 goals.
  • Both Teams to Score: Both teams have scored in 6 of the last 7 competitive meetings and it looks a likely bet again.

Chelsea Vs Liverpool

Pre-Match Summary

Newly crowned champions Liverpool travel to Stamford Bridge in what could be a tricky fixture. Chelsea have not been at there best for a while but a win last weekend put them back in the mix for the final Champions League place and they will be all out to upset the league winners, It would be a huge scalp should they capitalise.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Liverpool have been outstanding all season and will want to finish off strong too but after last weeks celebrations will they still have the focus here? could a Home win be a shrewd bet.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Historically this is usually a tight game, there will be chances but the defences could come out on top. Under 2.5 is probable
  • Both Teams to Score: Both teams have the firepower to score of course, but in a game which may be this is not a certainty.

Crystal Palace Vs Nottingham Forest

Pre-Match Summary

Forest dropped out of the Champions League placings last week and will want to be back winning in these crucial last stages of the season. While Palace have D2 and L2 in the last 4 matches look set for a mid table finish.

Statistical Insight:

  • Home Win/Away Win/Draw: Forest have a lot at stake and a lot to play for so an Away win is the preferred bet.
  • Over/Under 2.5 Goals: The last 5 H2Hs have all been Under 2.5 goals and that trend may well continue
  • Both Teams to Score: No, This has the makings of a low scoring game and may be decided by the odd goal.

Aston Villa v Fulham – Over 2.5 goals
Leicester v Southampton – Both teams to score YES
Everton – Home win
West Ham v Tottenham – Both teams to score YES
