Leading online gaming firm SportPesa has made work easy for its customers after launching a single unified account balance that will now be referred to as SportPesa one wallet.
Until 30 October 2025, SportPesa customers managed two separate accounts by default: a Sports Wallet and a Casino Wallet.
The Sports Wallet was used for sportsbook activities such as football, basketball, tennis, while the Casino Wallet held funds for Casino and Virtual games like Aviator.
When depositing, funds were credited to the Sports Wallet first. To play Casino games, customers had to transfer money from the Sports Wallet to the Casino Wallet—a process known as buying chips.
Similarly, to withdraw Casino or Virtual winnings, customers had to transfer funds back to the Sports Wallet, referred to as selling chips. For reference, Ksh. 1 was equivalent to 1 Casino chip.

What’s changing?
To enhance your experience, SportPesa is merging the Sports and Casino wallets into a single unified account balance. This means:
- You will see only one SportPesa account balance.
- Funds can be used seamlessly for both Sportsbook and Casino games.
- Withdrawals are now a one-step process, regardless of where your winnings originated.
