DERBY D’ITALIA BATTLE BETWEEN JUVENTUS AND INTER FOR COPPA ITALIA FINAL SPOT. PREDICTION

Juventus and Inter Milan will battle it out on Tuesday night for the third time this season in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi final first leg.

Juventus and Inter Milan meet in the final stages of the Coppa Italia for a third consecutive season after Inter claimed two cups last term with victories over Juventus in the final. But after Juventus registered wins ‘to nil’ from the two Serie A H2Hs this season, the hosts may have the upper hand going into this two-leg tie.

Juve are coming off a narrow 1-0 victory against Verona over the weekend, while Inter were stunned 1-0 at home by Fiorentina.

Inter beat Atalanta 1-0 in the quarterfinals to progress to the last four, while Juventus were also 1-0 winners against Lazio.

Fiorentina and Cremonense are the two other teams competing in the semis, hoping for a spot in the final on May 24.

Juventus are unbeaten in their last two matches against Inter in all competitions and have managed to keep a clean sheet in both of these games.

Inter are winless in their last four matches in all competitions and have failed to find the back of the net in three of these games, scoring their only goal in a 2-1 defeat against Spezia.

Juve are on a 5-match winning streak and have only conceded two goals in that run, giving them an edge coming into this game.

Juventus remain the most successful team in the Coppa Italia, winning 14 titles and are hoping for a record-extending triumph here.

This is a repeat of last season’s final played at the Stadio Olimpico and Inter came out 4-2 winners after extra time.
